Exploring my fine art photography galleries you will find my work has multiple subjects. Although they are categorized on my website, my goal in them all was the same; to transform what I saw, my vision, into an artistic statement. The following are examples:
Animals: A gallery of images of the wonders and beauty of animals.

“Flamingos” is an image of 2 groups of these beautiful wading birds in shallow blue water one appears to be having a conversation. The other is a group of two, so close together they appear as one.
Abstract: A gallery of images that use shapes, color and forms to achieve the effect.

“Tree Trunk” is an abstract image of a section of a fallen tree. Its bark has fallen off but what remains are beautiful shapes, patterns and textures that create a surreal effect.
Captured While Walking: A gallery of images captured while walking and experiencing daily life.

“The Village Shopper” is an image captured in the beautiful Italian village of Sienna in Tuscany. The shopper was on his way home from probably his daily trip to buy groceries. He is walking up a characteristic narrow street flanked by brick buildings, shops and cafes.
Black and White: A gallery of images that remove any distraction of color helping the viewer focus on the works texture, shape, patterns and composition.

“Tilted Pine”was captured in late fall The scene is deep woods of deep woods that have lost all of its leaves. All of the trees are vertical except for the lone tree that had died and started to fall It was held up part of the way to the ground by the limbs of a larger tree. The result was the creation of angles, shapes and contrasting tones of this black and white image.
Still Life: A gallery of images of inanimate objects from the natural or manmade world.

“Blue Martini” is an image of a martini glass. Blue gels were added to the lighting resulting in an image resembling a blue alien.
Panorama: A gallery of work created by combining multiple images to obtain a panoramic view.

“Which Way To The Beach” is a 360 degree panorama captured in the middle of a boardwalk leading to the beach. The steps on the left lead to the beach but the stairs on the right are actually the entrance to the boardwalk. The 360 degree capture creates quite a unique perspective.
Selective Color: A gallery of black and white images with selective color added to highlight what visioned.

Didgeridoo” is an image of a man playing a low-pitch resonant sound of an Australian wind instrument, the Didgeridoo. His dog, wearing sunglasses, scarf and hat is sitting next to him on a boxwith his water dish. The image was converted to black and white with the exception of the front length ofthe instrument. Selective color was used to highlight the shape, size and beautiful wood of the Didgeridoo.
Life Underwater: A gallery of images captured while SCUBA diving the beautiful ocean waters.

“Spotted Moray Eel” is a face to face close up image of a Spotted Moray Eel as it peeked its head around a coral formation. Eels open and close their mouths to move water through their gills for respiration. This behavior can often be seen as a threat, especially towards divers. In fact this is far from the truth. They are very shy creatures and will only attack if provoked. So the lesson here is do not provoke them.
Scenic: A gallery of images of impressive and beautiful natural scenery.

“Lighthouse At Sunset” is an image of the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse as the sun was about to set. Thesetting sun created a brilliant orange red sky which resulted in the lighthouse becoming silhouetted. Located just south of Daytona Beach, it is the tallest lighthouse in Florida.
