A brilliant rainbow forms on Bridalveil Fall in Yosemite National Park when afternoon sunlight hits the mist. The phenomenon happens predictably on sunny days mostly in the spring and fall when the sun lowers its position on the horizon. This picture was taken around 4:30. Sunset was at 8.
